An Amparo Internship is a journey of vocational and spiritual discipleship that will challenge you to apply your faith, education, and skills to serve the body of Christ in Nicaragua.
Discover life and purpose in the land of lakes and volcanoes. Nicaragua is a country of breathtaking beauty, vibrant culture, and welcoming people. As an Amparo Intern, you’ll experience daily life in the remote community of El Mango—serving alongside local teachers and families at Colegio Amparo.
You’ll stay with a Nicaraguan host family, learn the language, share meals, and discover what faith-filled community looks like in a rural setting. Orientation begins in Managua before you travel to the heart of the Wawashan Reserve, where you’ll grow in your vocation and in your walk with God through our discipleship program.
