WHERE WE WORK
Amparo International is a Canadian based Non-Government Organization working in the South Atlantic Autonomous Region (RAAS) of Nicaragua. We have constructed and operate a school serving over 200 students from kindergarten to secondary grades. In addition, we run an adult education program teaching basic reading and writing to over 100 students.
Our school is located in Mango, a town of about 300 residents with an area population closer to 700. Our school serves the community of Mango and many communities along the Kurínwas River.
Our operations office is in Managua where we run the day to day activities of our operation. Our board of directors and administration team is located in British Columbia, Canada.
