OUR NEXT STEP: BUILDING MORE CLASSROOMS
BACKGROUND:
In 2019, a team from Engineering Ministries International (EMI) visited Mango to develop a comprehensive Master Plan for Colegio Amparo. This talented group of architects, engineers, and surveyors worked alongside local leaders under the direction of Amparo’s founders, Brent and Michelle Ellingson.
The resulting conceptual design included a full property survey, development criteria, a phased site master plan, detailed building designs, and color renderings.
With Phases 1 and 2 now complete, Amparo is ready to move forward with Phase 3 — the next step in expanding our campus to serve even more students with excellence.
OUR NEXT STEP: PHASE 3 - HIGH-SCHOOL CLASSROOMS
Amparo is growing! In 2026, we’ll celebrate a major milestone — our first graduating class from regular Secondary. To make this possible, we’re adding grade 11 to our program next year.
Our classrooms are currently at maximum capacity, with four rooms divided into eight. It’s time to expand!
Phase 3 of our campus development includes two new buildings, each with three classrooms. The cost for each building is $100,000 (USD $72,000), and our goal is to complete the first by the 2026 school year.
