BACKGROUND:
In 2019, a team from Engineering Ministries International (EMI) visited Mango to develop a comprehensive Master Plan for Colegio Amparo. This talented group of architects, engineers, and surveyors worked alongside local leaders under the direction of Amparo’s founders, Brent and Michelle Ellingson.
The resulting conceptual design included a full property survey, development criteria, a phased site master plan, detailed building designs, and color renderings.
With Phases 1 and 2 now complete, Amparo is ready to move forward with Phase 3 — the next step in expanding our campus to serve even more students with excellence.

OUR NEXT STEP: PHASE 3 - HIGH-SCHOOL CLASSROOMS

Phase 3: Six New Classrooms
Phase 3 of our Campus Master Plan is now underway. Ultimately, it includes two new classroom buildings, each containing three classrooms. Our immediate goal is to complete the first three-classroom building during the 2026 school year and complete the second building in 2027.
The cost to construct each building is $100,000 CAD (approximately USD $72,000).
Why We Need To Raise $200,000
While the classroom building itself requires $100,000, construction cannot happen at the expense of the school's operations taking place every day.
That's why our 2026 Spring Campaign has a goal of $200,000:
-
$100,000 to construct the first three-classroom building.
-
$100,000 to sustain the daily operations of Colegio Amparo throughout the construction process, including teachers' salaries, student meals, transportation, educational supplies, and the many programs that make our school a place of hope and transformation.
Our commitment is to grow responsibly expanding our facilities while continuing to provide the exceptional education, care, and Christ-centered discipleship our students and families depend on.
