Born and raised in Langley BC, Reece studied science at the University of the Fraser Valley, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. With the goal of studying to become a medical doctor, Reece started work in the field of supportive care and is currently working at Whytecliff Agile Learning Centre as an Administrative Assistant and Youth Worker. Previous to this, Reece worked as a support worker for adults with disabilities, and as an educational behaviour interventionist for children with autism.

Reece is also an avid musician, multi-instrumentalist, and professional singer and guitarist. Performing under the moniker ‘Daniel Reece’, Reece has written, recorded, and produced his own music with two singles out on streaming platforms. This passion for music has largely been the means in which Reece has served the church. He started worship leading at Cloverdale Christian Fellowship amidst a major church split, learning to lead and minister to people in grief. After moving cities, Reece attended Hope City Church, and most recently attends Sonrise Church where he has been an active musician and worship leader.

As a person, Reece is driven by a passion to extend the love and grace of Jesus through his life to others. Reece loves people, loves working with people, and cares deeply about supporting others to achieve and discover their innate potential. Reece lives with his wife Jess, and their orange tabby cat Queso in Tsawwassen, BC.
