Kathryn Hitchen has an extensive background in bookkeeping and administration having worked for both large corporations and small businesses. Her career began at TELUS as an executive assistant in Corporate Communications with responsibility for an employee newsletter. Her career at TELUS continued with roles in the Corporate Legal Dept., Human Resources, and Health Services. After leaving TELUS, she joined Fraser Health as medical transcriptionist.
In 2006 Kathryn became the bookkeeper at Direct Impact Media and was soon being sought after by other small businesses such as WestCoast Child Development, Angela Rinaldis Law Corporation, Clinton Bauman Law Corporation, Zombie Foods, and AV Strategies Ltd.
Kathryn currently volunteers her time and expertise as Treasurer for the Canadian Association for Williams Syndrome, Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church, and the strata corporation where she lives in Anmore. Due to her attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, she is often recommended to companies who have incomplete and improperly recorded bookkeeping records.
